Sarah Richani (b. 1992) is a Lebanese painter living and working in Zurich. She studied at the American University of Science and Technology in Beirut. Richani’s canvases balance stark chromatic contrasts with nuanced, layered brushstrokes; her large abstractions are not literal depictions of nature but attempt to capture the feeling of landscape.
